The rib stitch gives it a nice, snug fit without being too tight, and the fabric has a satisfying weight to it. I’ve worn it in chilly wind and my head stayed warm without any itchiness.

The extrafine Merino is genuinely soft against my forehead, no itch like the cheaper wool hats I've owned. The Links stitch gives it a nice textured look that's a bit different from a plain ribbed beanie.

The rib knit on this hat is dense enough that it actually blocks wind, unlike the thinner merino beanies I've owned. The extrafine wool feels soft against my forehead with zero itch, which I didn't expect at this weight.
