The leather is buttery soft right out of the box, no break-in period needed at all. That chunky rubber sole gives me a good inch of extra height and the little stamps on it look even better in person.

Wore these straight out of the box for a full day of errands and zero break-in pain, which never happens for me with leather sneakers. The chunky rubber sole gives a nice bit of height without feeling clunky, and those stamped treads on the bottom are a fun detail.
